A fine line for the production of Steel Grinding Balls. Can be inspected under power. The plant is in excellent condition and is equipped with a large assortment of spare parts.
It has a capacity of 25 to 75mm diameter Steel Balls and will produce 3.5 tons of Steel Balls per hour. Across a balanced mix of ball sizes, the plant is capable of producing 5,000 tonnes per year on a single shift operation and 20,000 tonnes of 50 to 70mm balls per year on a three shift operation.

The walking beam furnance has the capacity to heat bars to 6 meters in length, making the use of material more efficient, and the line has a band saw, in case the process requires bars of shorter length.
The heat treatment system consists of an extraction wheel with speeds regulated by a PLC, according to the different production diameters, to ensure the required hardness according to the requested specifications, above 60RC.
The recirculating cooling system has a cooling tower with the ability to always keep the water at the correct temperature of the quenching medium.
