The Power Barge entered commercial into operation in 2000. It has a capacity of 130 MW with a Power Purchased Agreement contracted output of 110MW. It was constructed with 8 Units of dual fuel Wartsila Engines which fires on both Heavy Fuel Oil and Compressed Natural Gas (“CNG”) to generate electricity through a shaft connection to an ABB generator which runs at 500rpm. Electricity generated by the (8) Wartsila Engines is 15kV at 50Hz. The ABB Generator is delivered to (2) ABB Main Step-up Transformers on-board the barge.
The Power Plant facility is comprised of one floating power barge, one gas compressor house / the auxiliary equipment required to run the operation, various office and storage buildings together with a comprehensive workshop.
On the main engine hall of the barge, the (8) Generators are arranged in parallel. Below the main engine hall, there are segregated pump room spaces containing fuel and lube oil treatment plants, cooling water system and other ancillary systems together with storage/service tanks for fuel oil/lube oil and other service tanks. The condition of the hull body is satisfactory and it is protected with a cathode hull protection system.
There are many Brand New Spare Parts that will go with the Barge.
It is available for inspection on request, and is available to move immediately.
